How did you become part of the light rail project and when? January 2013. My role on the project is to learn about the science principals that the engineers put into action daily. There is a lot of work going on to build this 13-kilometre light rail corridor! I’m looking forward to showing the rest of Australia what I’ve learnt.
What interested you about being a part of the Love Learning Curriculum? I couldn’t pass up an opportunity to learn about the science concepts behind the operation and creation of the Gold Coast light rail system. It helps having a real life example of science concepts has helped me to understand science principles.
What interests you the most about constructing the light rail? I enjoyed learning about how the tram generates speed and maintains it when travelling.
What part of the light rail system are you looking forward to experiencing the most? I am keen to try out the surfboard racks.
What is your favourite part of living on the Gold Coast? It is great being close to such a wide range of places but most of all, I love the beach and of course the weather.
